This year we are going to kick out our first post with something dear to my heart…travel!

Today’s Haute Escape takes you to the beautiful region of La Marche, Italy. It is easy to see why La Marche is often referred to as the new Tuscany…

Embarking on a journey to see new places is undoubtedly my greatest passion in life. I long to see the world and I have been, one destination {sometimes two or three} at a time since I was a child. To me, the discovery of new cultures, forgotten history, and ways of life are just a few reasons to see the world. Many travel but few actually journey. A journey should leave you with lasting memories of sights, sounds, and tastes so vivid that when you close your eyes you can experience them again and again. I hope my travel posts will ignite the flame of discovery in you. I’d love to read about your journeys, too. Bon voyage!
