Happy Friday everyone! Are you ready to start a wonderful weekend? Summer will be here in a few weeks and is making its presence known across the country and I am so happy that it is! Warmer weather means cute sandals, shorter skirts, tank tops and beach time!
We all know the best way to take care of our skin is from the inside out. Drinking lots of water and eating clean. All that works but to be your glowing best forward there is one more step…exfoliation. Exfoliate at least once a week to gently slough away dead and dry skin cells. It is an important step in my own personal care. When I am traveling instead of carrying my favorite store brand body scrub I use these gloves and they do an amazing job but I still prefer a sugar scrub. They are just so yummy to smell and the sugar melting on your skin…heaven! After exfoliating you will instantly fall in love with your moisturizer again and if you visit tanning salons you will also see your tanning sessions no longer leave you blotchy. Thanks to The Pretty Blog…you can make your own at home easily!
This recipe from The Pretty Blog is so easy to make at home. You can find all of the ingredients quite easily in your local market. Oh and the other added benefit of a sugar scrub is you will smell incredibly and deliciously irresistible…or at least so I am told!
