For those of us who older than thirty midi rings are not really a trend at all. It has been around for a some time now. Look at any female portrait from the 14th or 15th century and you will find many of the women wearing knuckle rings what we now call midi rings. It’s one of those trends you see come and go on some. For some well that is just how they prefer to wear their rings. I love this look. I especially love it when the rings are simple with little or no detail as pictured below.
The key to this ‘trend’ is to not adorn all of your fingers with rings. Choose rings that represent your fashion style. A few on one hand and more on the other always looks chic…even for career ladies. Save the fancier and more ornate rings for nights out on the town. There are so many different ways to wear this ‘trend’ find a few rings that you like and try it for yourself. If you are not much of a chunky jewelry person {neither am I} this is perfectly delicate and simple. The last image is a DIY via Edit Vancouver. You are welcome! xo
