Luxe does not, and in my book should not, be gaudy or over-the-top. I truly believe that there is beauty in simplicity. Allowing all the elements in the design of an event to equally shine is not an easy task especially when the main colors are black and gold. Every detail must be able to be stand on its own but must also fit in seamlessly when all the details and elements of the design are seen as a whole. Talk to your event designer not only about the colors that you’d like for your wedding but also the feeling you’d like to evoke.
