Whenever it is time for me to discuss the paper element of my clients weddings they always get excited. I can tell you from my own experience that it is not always an easy task because there are so many wonderfully talented graphic artists that a couple can chose to work with. Of course as a wedding planner/designer, I have my favorites and you are about to meet one of mine. Are you ready for the lovely? Anastasia Marie created a gorgeous invitation suite along with all the paper pretties for this couples wedding day. This elegant and very classic suite with its gorgeous colors and cursive font conveys pure romance…and what better a message than romance should a wedding convey?
The inspiration for this wedding suite was really the color palette. The bride’s color choices for her big day were pink, silver gray, and gold. I made up a special inspiration board for her right before we began designing the stationery to use throughout the design process. The pink and gray became our ink colors and the gold was incorporated by printing the suite on ivory paper.
The bride wanted the suite to have a formal feel to it, but not overly the top formal. Some garden roses were drawn up, a fancy script font was used for the names, and a pretty pattern graced the backside of the smaller pieces. The suite included other bits and pieces for the reception that can be view here.
