Monday Morning Blues :: Winter Bouquets

Flowers are one of the most important and talked about elements of any wedding day. Whether you desire an abundance of flowers or your tastes calls for a more scaled down approach, this is one element of the day that does make the design. Many brides, and grooms alike, may not know the names of flowers they have seen but they sure know what they like and what they don’t like! I have designed and planned weddings that call for a copious amount of flowers and I have designed a few that flowers were kept to a minimum. No matter the preference flowers truly enhances the design of the event. Working closely with the floral designer ensures that the overall look of your day and the lovely details created are in perfect harmony. When it comes to the bride’s winter bouquet she must be overjoyed with the it. After all, it takes center stage with her as she takes her steps down the aisle towards her soon to be husband.

Today’s Monday Morning Blues post was written with the winter bride in mind! As much as I am not a fan of the cold, I do love winter weddings. There is something so magical about the snow and the frost in the air. Although winter is not ideal for many flowers to grow there is never a lack of resources or creativity for your floral designer to create the perfect winter bouquet. If you chose flowers that are out of season in your area or country at the time of your wedding, you floral designer can substitute those flowers for something similar.
