I have a lovely styled wedding shoot to share with you today and you may already know this young lady from her beautiful blog b.loved. She shared this on her own blog but I just had to share it with my readers.I had the pleasure of meeting Louise two years ago whilst on a trip to Europe and we’ve remained friends ever since then. I love Louise’s passion for our industry and how she always challenges herself to be amazing…and never fails. I’m so happy to share her latest work here on Inside the Lovely.
Now from Louise…
To celebrate the launch of the 2014 Jesus Peiro Collection, I was asked to style two tables inspired by my favourite dresses. I picked two contrasting styles, both equally beautiful in their own way, to create two distinct designs for a Mediterranean-inspired wedding.
Spanish Senorita
Inspired by Jesus Peiro ‘4084’ dress, with all over gold sequins and a striking black sash, this look is all about balancing sophisticated glamour with contemporary elegance. Using gold sequinned table linen as a glamorous backdrop, a huge urn overflowing with rich tangerine and fig-coloured florals creates a stunning statement centrepiece, incorporating orange pincushion protea, black dahlias and gold sprayed leaves along with lush foliage. At each place setting a clear Ghost chair keeps the view clean, while striking monochrome & gold china from Christian Lacroix pops against the gold and matt black glassware adds to the ultra-modern feel. Completing the look, a stationery suite picks up the colour accents with a pretty orange & fig design, and gold-lined black envelopes add a stylish touch. I also created a gold sequinned cake tier, complete with black sash to compliment the dress.
Mediterranean Romance
The billowing ‘4037’ dress by Jesus Peiro provided the inspiration for a table setting for a romantic Mediterranean wedding, with dreams of lavender fields and a soft summer breeze. I used a backdrop of natural linens and rustic timbers and terracotta, with orange and lavender touches. Floral arrangements are stripped back to pots of herbs, silvery leafed succulents and kumquat topiary trees with Spanish moss. Wooden platters mark each place, set with a lavender seed favour, dipped wooden cutlery and a personalised canvas bag for guests to take their favour home. The stationery suite was inspired by the delicate patterns of Spanish tiles, with a soft terracotta background and lavender accents. The look was finished with a rustic styled ladder displaying cloche-covered herbs and succulents, and jars of kumquats and figs to add to the Mediterranean flavour.
