A Lovely Idea :: Handkerchief Wedding Program

Happy Monday friends! This lovely image via Style Me Pretty {see the entire shoot here} sparked an idea that I want to share with you! There are so many great wedding ideas floating around that sometimes I wish I thought of many of them myself! Good thing about ideas is they usually help spark others. This one sure did! When I saw this idea I thought, “That would be a darling idea for a wedding program!” {read more below!}

If you look closely you will see wedding vows printed on the right side of the image so perhaps the handkerchief is there just in case the bride or groom cries while reciting them? Clever idea, right? Well here’s my hack of that idea… why not attach a handkerchief to your wedding programs? Why? More often than not guests cry at weddings. This would be a clever and convenient way to help them dry their tears. You could tuck pretty hankies in your wedding programs { similar to the image below} and leave them opened on each ceremony chair or attach the hankies to the cover of your wedding program as part of the program’s design. Either way I’m sure it would be lovely surprise! What do you think?
