When I first visited Southern California two of the places we visited was Dana Point and Laguna Beach. I fell in love with the homes that seemed to hang right off of the cliffs with the most spectacular views. I remember wondering what they looked like inside and who lived there. Now that I live in Carlsbad, CA I am privy to some of those views, but not quite as gorgeous as the views from the home you are about to see. Although my home is oh so close to water in two directions, it doesn’t hang off a cliff…but I suspect someday soon that dream of ours will come true.
This gorgeous home is located near Salt Creek Beach, a local surfing haven in nearby Dana Point. The views are spectacular and having friends who live in Dana Point, I can honestly say, it is a slice of coastal heaven…but so is this house. Every detail of this home was perfectly picked to work with its surroundings but aside from the view, there are many details to love. For example the marmorino plastered fireplace is simply gorgeous and the reclaimed wood used to create beams for the ceiling adds a touch of rustic old world charm to this coastal home. Can you imagine having your first cup of tea on the pergola with your visiting friends? I bet you can hear those waves crashing already! Coastal living is calling your name! Happy living friends! xo
This is such a beautiful location!
