Our first featured bridal collection for 2018 is by one of my lovely faraway friends. My travels have, fortunately, lead me to meet some of the wedding industry’s most incredible creatives. Today I am happy to share the latest collection by design house Atelier Anonyme.
There is a certain unspoken style that, year after year, attracts me to the collections of Parisian wedding dress designers. Perhaps, it is their way of making the simple beautiful. I look forward to seeing their interpretation of the latest trends in dresses and how they incorporate that into their own collections. Never over the top and no matter the designer’s style, simplicity seems to be the key ingredient. Let us not forget the second essential for Parisians when it comes to fashion. That essential is comfort. American brides are catching on and many American wedding dress designers are creating collections that follow these design principles as well. I have worked with brides that changed into a second, more comfortable dress after the ceremony or right before the dancing begins. When you are comfortable it is easier to enjoy the festive part of your wedding day celebration.
Today’s featured collection is beautiful and simply so. Softly tailored dresses graciously drape the body effortlessly and elegantly. Layers of intricate lace and fluid modern silhouettes make up the foundation for Atelier Anonyme’s past and present bridal collections. Every year designer Julie Bernier is able to stay true to her signature aesthetic while creating a wedding collection that still appeals to the modern bride. That is why this designer’s bridal collections will always be one of my favorites year after year. I love that Julie included a cape in this year’s collection. It is fashion-forward without being trendy and that is definitely a win in my book.
