The collaboration between shoe designer Christian Louboutin and photographer Peter Lippmann once again has proved to be an outstanding one. The shoe designer’s spring -summer 2014 campaign was inspired by famous artists like Monet, Cézanne, Van Gogh and other greats. By creating the juxtaposition of shoes against floral this campaign is not only clever it is also artistically stunning. The shoes and bags that were styled to become a part of the art work, some almost camouflaged, were then shot by Lippman to mimic impressionist still life paintings. If you recall Louboutin and Lippmann collaborated in 2011 for the shoe designers gorgeous fall lookbook once again using great works of art that featured women as their inspiration. I must say they have done it again. What a brilliant and pretty campaign!
