Les Merveilleuses de Ladurées

Early last year Ladureé {if I have to explain to you who they are, I’ll buy you a ticket to Paris or New York right now!} launched a cosmetic line, Les Merveilleuses de Ladurées (or The Wonders of Ladurée, in English). I know what you are thinking, “Whaaat?” yes BUT the line launched in Japan first. However, a little birdie told me that Les Merveilleuses de Ladurées will probably launch in the USA sometime this year. I am too excited! While this cosmetic line is old news to some, I am guessing, like me, many of you did not know such incredibleness existed!

The packaging, with its cameos and lovely gold touches, is absolutely darling…and so in line with the company’s brand. Can you imagine what this would like on your vanity? Something right out of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette!

Les Merveilleuses de Ladurées consist of twenty different colors of rouge in the form of cameos plus liquid foundation and lip color. Since its launch additional items have been added…which I am almost positive means that the line is doing will in Japan. In the meantime, all one American Francophile can do is wait. Now that I think of it, Japan does not seem that far away from San Diego after all… à bientôt! XO
