Fancy Flowers :: Parrot Tulips

Parrot tulips are the gorgeous hybrids of the more common tulip we see in flower shops and in gardens. These hybrids come in a range of colors and distinct types of petals. Some are curled, twisted, scalloped, or doubled. Others have a distinct feathered border and are commonly called “fringed”. Parrot tulips are more “showy” than other tulips more commonly seen which makes them perfect for adding color and texture to your wedding centerpieces and bouquet. They bloom in mid or late spring and go well with ranunculus, anemones, peonies, garden roses, dahlias, and lilies. They play well with a host of many other flowers as well so ask your florist when planning your wedding bouquet.
