Happy Monday everyone! I hope the weekend was a good one. This week is all about beautiful interiors. A life Inside the Lovely also means that we decorate our homes as we do our hearts with the things that matter most. For some in regards to their resident they prefer a cozy home with throws, plump pillows and big comfy sofa to sink into after a long days work while other prefer a clean sleek home with little clutter and lots of open spaces with the most incredible views to daydream into after a long day of business.
As I mentioned a few times before, my tastes are eclectic. I love a comfy home especially on the chilly days that I’ve spent outside. On days like that I want to lay on my sofa, pull out my favorite blanket, pour myself a big cup of hot tea and cozy up with a good book. Then there are those days that the thought of an open floor plan with more space than furniture and nothing but a few well thought out art pieces and floor to ceiling windows that allows the outside to be part of the inside sounds like bliss. I can easily move between those two spaces…all depending on the mood.
This Beverly Hills home is the latter and speaks to my California coastal loving heart. It’s serene and quite modern. With the coast as this homes backdrop little is needed to make this already amazing home beautiful. This 6700 square foot home was created to be “strong, masculine, and dramatic”. The home, built in the 1960s was in need of a an update and designer James Magni not only created a beautiful home for the owner but a pristine work of art.

I dream about vacationing in a stunning home like this, and then getting to go back to my plump pillows and cozy little spaces at home!
