Happy Monday friends! Let’s kick off March with a bit of Lovely Living from Austin Texas I love all types of homes but the one thing that I know Mr. G and I will butt heads on when it comes time for us to build our dream home is the type. What will the style be? Modern? Coastal? Transitional? Building or buying a home is not an easy decision. So many factors must be considered. I don’t mind looking at homes but picking and deciding on one… that’s tough! I’m quite eclectic but I don’t like clutter at all. My decor tastes leans towards less is more but I also like to be comfortable. I guess I am a comfort loving minimalist. However this transitional home by Cornerstone Architects is amazing…stuff and all!
The neutral wall colors chosen for this home are perfect. I love the pops of turquoise and coral. The mix of modern furniture with contemporary pieces and the interesting industrial touches creates the perfect transitional-eclectic home. One of my favorite decor elements of this home is in the kitchen. I love that gorgeous glass subway tile backsplash! Not to mention the artisan light fixtures above the island. There’s not much I would change about this home. It inviting warm and perfectly appointed. What do you think? Is it your style? Are there elements that you like if? If you could build your perfect home what would you build? A coastal home near the sea? A home high above it all in the mountains? Or an oasis in the desert ? I’d love to know! xo
Wow that house looks phenomenal! Love the mix of neutrals and the pops of color in some areas like the bathroom. Lovely space!
I agree they made it so liveable. Some homes look like they are just for show…this one seems it truly is for living!
What an inviting space! I skew pretty traditional while John goes for rustic modern–it’s always interesting to see how they combine!
I’m a glamour loving minimalist but this one I could happily live in this house as is! xo
