Hi lovelies! Well the Bridal Market has happened and I tried my best to keep my eye on the shows from here in San Diego. I cannot believe I missed the show by one week when I was in New York. Nonetheless, I think there was an advantage to seeing it at home instead of figuring out how to see everything while in New York. There was so much to see!
Most of my favorite designers did not disappoint at all. I was in awe of all the different lengths of the dresses from Marchesa. Shorter hemlines are perfect for the spring. Amsale’s asymmetrical one shoulder frock took my breath away with its elegance and simplicity. Kenneth Pool’s body conscious silhouettes were drop dead glamorous and Angel Sánchez’s architectural like dresses where literally out of this world incredible. I cannot wait to see brides in Rivini’s flirtatious high-low hemline with its sheer top. Christos most definitely nailed the “goddess” look with ethereal like free flowing dresses. I could go on and on but that would take a lot more than a few minutes of your lovely attention so here are some dresses {just the tip of the iceberg my friends} from the New York Bridal Market -Spring 2014. The dresses below aren’t all of my favorites they just represent the many different dresses available to the brides of tomorrow. …I’m sure there will be posts with my favorite collections soon! OK full disclosure now…I love black and white together but I found it very hard to love the Vera Wang collection as I usually do .Although there were some really gorgeous silhouettes in the collection, I was in awe of it all. What collection did you love? Which collection did you not? So many to choose from!
