We all, more then we care to admit, could use a place to escape to. A place that has no vacancy or room for the cares of your ever-demanding-life. A place of respite. A place to rest your mind, body, and spirit. A place to just be. A place to recharge.
This beautifully appointed vacation home belongs to an English family who searched for a place to enjoy a slower pace of life and found it in a setting only Majorca could provide. With it’s calming colors, native shade trees, and numerous places to relax indoors and out, one might never want to leave. Take a minute or two and allow yourself to escape to somewhere lovely. Whether it be this home or one you’ve dreamed of…it will be good to get away…even if we do so only in our minds.
A perfect spot for al fresco conversations and planning future visits.
A pool to sit beside and take in the sun.
The entrance to the lovely garden where native olive trees were left undisturbed.
The “runner” of smooth rocks welcomes guests when entering the spacious foyer.
Another beautiful outdoor space for afternoon tea and gardening.
Beautiful tile work and olive wood beams give the kitchen a country feel.
The living room with white comfy sofas for a place to read, sleep or just be.
The perfect bedroom for napping with wide open windows.
Recycled olive wood were used create the rustic arches on the ground floor.

Majorca is all about lemons! Very nice to see lemons like kitchen decor.
I can’t remember quite what the impetus was, but there was about a year there where John and I were obsessed with Majorca, and would spend every weekend house hunting. It’s officially back on!
Maybe we can meet there and enjoy a week off from work!!!! 😉 What an amazing place!!
