Happy weekend darlings! Can you believe how fast this month is going by? I walked into a gift shop the other day and it was filled with Christmas ornaments, and lights. They skipped right over Thanksgiving. Halloween isn’t even here yet, much less winter. Why are we always in a hurry for things to happen? I want to savor the beautiful crisp autumn days and enjoy the smell of pumpkin pies baking and the taste of warm apple cider. Winter will soon be here and have its turn.
You may or may not have come across the blog I’m sharing with you today or perhaps you’ve seen images from their site and did not know it. If not when you visit this blog you will see why I love it. From Me to You, is a chic and sophisticated read. Jamie and Kevin are based in NYC and run Anne Street Studios out of lower Manhattan. Jamie, from Texas, waxes poetic about Manhattan and makes this native long for the culture that only New York can offer. Often pictured with red lipstick and red lacquered nails, Jamie’s style is a mixture of easy glamour, and NYC sophistication. She’s perfected the vintage modern look with her own twist.
The images on From Me to You are beautiful and should be because Jamie is a professional photographer and Kevin is also an artist in every manner of the word. Kevin has perfected the art of bringing photography and video together to create the cinemagraphs {see image above} that I cannot get enough of. I could look at cinemagraphs for hours and still be fascinated. If you love gorgeous photography, interviews with designers, want to know the latest happenings, and firsthand accounts from the parties and runways around the world, you will love From Me to You.
