Lovely Living № 2 :: Hollywood Hills, California

I love a home that although close to the hustle and bustle of a big city, feels like a million miles away. That is one of the many reasons I love Jacqui Getty’s lovely Hollywood Hills home. Endless books to read, beautiful furnishings, and lots of natural light makes this home the Lovely Lair of the Week.”

Being surrounded by gorgeous furnishings and the things that bring you joy makes your home more personable and intimate. When you walk into your home, after a long day, you should feel as if you entered your private place of respite….your own little oasis. As hard as you work, you definitely deserve that!

A place to curl up with a good book, have a cup of tea, or spend time with friends. I love the chairs and pops of  bright color.  I’d go in this room every day and look through every book and read them one by one. I bet  there are some amazing coffee table books on those shelves!

The lucite table is  perfect  for this space and goes well with the rest of the rooms furnishings and does not compete with the decor. The tangerine chair was designed by lady of the house, Jacqui Getty. The layering of the different furniture, and accessories makes this room comfortable and not at all stuffy. Perfect placement assures that.
