Hi lovers {of weddings and all things lovely that is}! I am very excited to share this engagement shoot with you. Sometimes you just get lucky and find a shoot that has yet to be submitted to a blog {it has however made it to Facebook and shared almost 1000 times but not in its entirety} that blows your mind. Well my “sometime” happened last week when I came upon the website of Dina Chmut Photography. After reading that the bride {she’s a wife now but one is always a bride, no?} and her sister arranged all the flowers, I was very impressed. But when I read that the bride and groom constructed the floral backdrop, together, I was more than impressed. I was amazed. Isn’t it beautiful? The forest’s enchanting setting was the perfect site for the shoot’s whimsical theme. I immediately sent Dina an email asking permission to feature David and Alina’s engagement shoot on “Inside the Lovely”. She was quite lovely in her response; she wrote that she has been so busy that she did not have time to submit it anywhere. Dina gave me the go ahead and now here I am sharing it with you!
Here’s a little about the couple’s love story; Alina lived in Portland and David lived in Hawaii and had a long distance relationship but distance could not keep this creative duo apart. I am not sure where they live now but I bet they are not done making incredibly beautiful things together. This beautiful couple married on August 31, 2013. Congratulations Alina & David and thank you so much Dina for sharing your talent with us today. Your photography is simply beautiful. Now let’s get to the pretty. XO
