Real Wedding :: Greenfield Lake Park, North Carolina

Hi lovelies! I made a secret promise that I would only feature weddings that were rich with either romance, details, or love so apparent in the photos that few words would be needed…this one has it all. This wedding is absolutely gorgeous! So gorgeous that it will be featured in two parts. The amazing details designed and created by Jennifer Rose of Salt Harbor Design are too pretty to not show it all. I’ve been a fan of Salt Harbor Designs and Millie Holloman Photography for some time now and I’m so happy that I am able to feature such a lovely wedding by this creative duo.

Ashley and Matt’s reception took place at Greenfield Lake Park in Wilmington, NC. What I most love about their wedding is the warmth it exudes. Instead of catering their wedding day, the couple asked guests to bring a side dish for the pot luck reception. The design of the day was seamlessly incorporated into the the nature surrounding the ceremony and reception area. A tree was used to display the Polaroid pictures that were taken by the homemade quilt background photo booth, and beautiful quilts were displayed on a rustic ladder that lent to the intimate feel of the day.  Oh and it gets better…Ashley and Mathew participated in a beautiful foot washing ritual during the ceremony that was perfectly captured {wait for part two for those images}. There are so many wonderful details so I’ll let them speak for themselves. I know you are going to love this wedding…part two will be up next week, Wednesday. Do come back!

I told you this wedding was filed with lovely details! The way details are incorporated into a wedding is my favorite part of the design. It really should be a beautiful reflection of who you are, and this wedding speaks volumes without needing many words. Stay tuned for part two next week when you get to meet the newlyweds and see all the fun {and lovely}that happened during and after the wedding ceremony! XO
