A Jewelry Collaboration :: Rachel Roy & Deepak Chopra

Happy Friday friends! How was your week? Was it filled with wonderful surprises or were you faced with a few challenges that you had to overcome? Whatever the week was I am hoping that your weekend will be better!  Mine was quite busy and overwhelming but it is finally Friday and I am sure the weekend will be a good one!

A jewelry collaboration in the fashion world is not unheard of but when I learned of this one, I was pleasantly surprised. The collaboration between author and spiritual guru Deepak Chopra and NY based designer philanthropist Rachel Roy began with a few tweets which led to an in person meeting, which resulted in a collaborative holiday jewelry collection. I am most certainly biased because Deepak Chopra is one of my favorite spiritual authors and I have followed Rachel Roy since her fashion debut in 2005. There was no way that I was not going to love what this collaboration would beget. I was right…

The jewelry line promotes empowerment…something that resonates with me on many levels. Handcrafted and inspired by Roy’s Indian heritage, the line includes gorgeous pieces that are embossed with symbols and words that reflect harmony, beauty, and peace. Proceeds will benefit The Chopra Center for Well Being which focuses on healing and wellness by promoting world peace to all members of the human family.
